We are thrilled to announce that Brunch Bags are open for sales! The Brunch Bag fundraiser is our signature fundraising event for The Schoolhouse. It began in 1984 and has continued every year since then except for a two-year break during the pandemic. Order your Brunch Bag here!

What are Brunch Bags?
Our Brunch Bag is a beautifully packaged bag of goodies, hand delivered by Schoolhouse community volunteers to the recipient’s door on Saturday, May 10th (Mother’s Day weekend). Every year, we tweak the contents of the bag to include as many local ingredients as possible. We also offer a limited number of ​vegan/gluten-free bags​. Each bag costs $30.
Who can I buy one for?
Brunch Bags aren't just for moms - they are frequently given as "Happy Spring!" gifts to dads, sisters, brothers, kids, friends, neighbors, sweethearts, relatives, teachers, co-workers, bosses, grandparents, doctors, daycare providers, clergy, etc.! Bags can be purchased for anyone within our local delivery area to brighten their day.
What if my loved one lives out of town?
You can honor an out of town loved one by donating a bag in his/her honor to a community member served by a local non-profit. The Schoolhouse will mail a card to the honoree letting them know of your gift.

Can I donate a Brunch Bag directly?
Yes! You can also contribute funds towards the purchase of Brunch Bags, and we will deliver them to residents of COTS, Cathedral Square, Steps to End Domestic Violence (formerly Women Helping Battered Women), the Lund Family Center, or the University Medical Center's Hope Lodge.

Delivery
Each bag is delivered in person, Saturday afternoon, May 10. Towns eligible for delivery include Burlington/South Burlington, Charlotte, Colchester, Essex, Essex Junction, Ferrisburgh, Hinesburg, Huntington, Milton, Richmond, Shelburne, St. George, Williston and Winooski.

All proceeds from the sale of Brunch Bags support The Schoolhouse in providing high quality programming for 2 to 14 year olds in a cooperative, nurturing and diverse community.
